Campers run in an altitude environment with the Appalachian Mountains as the background and develop as runners while gaining self-confidence and making new friends.
App Cross Country Camp is designed to further each runner's knowledge of training, injury prevention, nutrition, strength training, and recovery.
Sport-specific strength and mobility sessions are to help teach runners how to train their bodies to handle the mileage and how to avoid injury. Additional breakout topics include goal setting and race strategy planning.
Nike will be offering a clinic during the camp to explore shoes and products.
